The 10th Europan competition is reportedly decided. The present case was in January 2009 under the motto "European Urbanity" awarded in 62 cities from 19 European countries. The jury awarded a total of nine prizes, twelve acquisitions and four Honorable Mentions for the German sites in Bottrop, Elmshorn, Dessau-Roßlau, Leisnig, Guben, Heidelberg, Forchheim, Nuremberg and Munich and Warsaw, the Polish site. Bottrop

Task: The city of Bottrop to the Urban West, while retaining the polycentric settlement and Versorgungsstrukur be strengthened in the framework.
